Events

"YOLES", small typical boats, are very famous in Martinique and unique in the world.They are celebrated  every year in July during "Le TOUR des YOLES de la Martinique".Thousands of people follow the race  around the island during the whole week and support a boat representing their borough or their town.  Every celebration, every event is also an occasion to admire Creole traditional costumes. Every year,  namely on August 15th ,in the town of SAINTE-MARIE takes place the Horse Race.
